Directorate of Administration Services

The Deputy Clerk is the principal assistant to the Clerk of the County Assembly and performs the duties and functions of the Clerk as and when the Clerk is absent.

The County Assembly Service Board of Embu has tasked the Deputy Clerk with extra responsibilities of chairing the Management and Staff Advisory Committee, and heading the Directorate of Administrative Services. The Directorate is comprised of the following Departments and Sections:-

  1. Internal Audit Department;
  2. Information, Communication and Technology Department;
  3. Office Administration Support Section; and
  4. Records Management Unit.
